This day was the day we were attacked byterrorist. They flew 2 planes into the twin towers. The first one that was hitthey thought it was an accident until the second one hit. Hundreds of peopledied or got injured on impact. The others were trapped in the building. Therewas a guy in the basement, he didn’t know what happened all he heard was a bignoise. All of a sudden a loud roar was getting louder he looked down the halland a big what seemed like a fireball came so fast down the hallway he didn’tknow what to do.
He was trapped. One of his workers were calling for him he gotout and helped many more get out too. Mike Hingson was in the tower at the of thebombing, he’s blind. His guide dog Roselle had to get him out from the 78thfloor of the north tower. He got out safe and so did his dog. Everyone was veryhelpful to them.
“It was hot in the stairwells and the smell of jet fuel wasvery strong. People passed along water bottles to Hingson so that both he andthe dog could drink.” Lisa Beamerand her two kids live alone now bc there dad was on flight 93. Andrew(theredad) was someone who tried to fight the hijackers. The hijackers hadknifes.
Thousands of people flooded theBrooklyn bridge on a mass pilgrimage of Manhattan on the morning of 9/11. TheBridge had debri all over it. It was hard to breathe all around the tower.Everything was dust filled people couldn’t see or breathe. 2996 people died in the twin tower attack. Including the 19terrorist who hijacked the plane. President Bush was in Florida during theattack. He came back when he heard thenews but had military jets following him just in case they tried to kill thepresident.

As the evacuation of the tower and its twin got underway, television cameras broadcasted live images of what initially appeared to be afreak accident. Then, 18 minutes after the first plane hit, a second Boeing 767United Airlines Flight 175 appeared out of the sky, turned sharply toward theWorld Trade Center and sliced into the south tower near the 60th floor. She was staying with her parents while he was out of town. He calledand said that his plane had been hijacked by three Middle Eastern men in redbandanas. They all had knives and said they had a bomb. Other passengers whomade calls on the phone told him that two planes crashed into the twin towers. He asked his wife if they were telling the truth and she told him yes.

Seconds laterat 10:06 Flight 93 crashed into a empty field 2 miles short of the school. Noone on the ground died but everyone on the plane did.
