Unfortunately, at times there can be occurrences of discrimination and sexism. It is a problem that women are found receiving lower wages as well as lower status positions then men.

There are many reasons why women feel uncomfortable and choose to leave the workplace. While some women just take a break from the workplace to raise their children, not everyone is the same.Many women struggle with sexual harassment in the workplace nearly every day.

Minister Joe Swanson announced in 2012 that British companies will be required to report the total number of males and females that they employ. The theory behind this is that there needs to be transparency on the issue to be able to clearly see what is happening. Being able to clearly see a problem is the first step in solving it. One example by integrating more women in the leadership or decision making roles in a company, the business would have a better foothold in the market.The unethical research practices that need to be avoided in this project could include using loaded research techniques such as targeting specific groups, targeting specific industries, targeting specific regions or targeting specific markets. When conducting a research program it is important to retrieve non bias and historical documentation and evidence that can support your theory as well as give you a true answer on the subject that you are researching.In this case with trying to prove that equality needs to be met in the workplace we would not want to target male only groups or sessions where females are not really involved in the workforce.

These practices would be unethical in our search for a solid information foundation and could sway or ruin the outcome of the research and its findings as a whole. The next factor that must be considered is the damaging repercussions that can occur if the information or data that is collected is incorrect.The injury that can be caused to the personal involved in doing the research would be their damaged credibility if it was discovered that these scenes did not in fact reflect the true numbers.

Incorrect reporting would continue to keep us blind to the real problem status. Knowing is half the battle. By introducing a non;bias platform that can built off of you can begin to ensure that information that is collected from all data points will be raw and uncut.

This type of information collection is best served to researchers as they move forward to provide facts that support the questioned thesis. Unethical behavior can be decreased by having a code of conduct in the work place. A company can begin by briefing all employees that are starting as new ire’s on the code of conduct and the actions that will be taken in the event of an incident. Holding employees accountable for their actions and keeping good records will help the employees know what is expected from them. For example sexual harassment in the workplace is not acceptable and in many companies is easily terms for termination.

In conclusion equality is an issue that surrounds and impacts the daily life cycle Of all business.As we grow as a society every day we constantly break the bonds of old and push forward collectively as a unit into the future. Identifying with our past and properly identifying those stereotypes and shortfalls of old are the first step.

We must be honest with ourselves and the environment that we operate within. The data collection point for any type of research or researchers must be pure in the form that it is non-bias. Only then can we form a solid historical baseline to operate off of and begin to come up with policy and procedures that will guide us into the future.
