Of all the people I have encountered in my life, the person who has inspired me the most is definitely my mother. She has been the greatest inspiration in my life and is the main reason that I am where I am and who I am today. She is the most important person in my life because she teavhes me to be a better person every day. She is a good example to me and I love her for many more reasons. I admire my mom the most out of anyone in my life because she was a strong single mother, and hard-worker,she has always been there for her children(good or bad).
She is a wonderful mother and I am extremely proud to be her daughter. My whole life I have never lived with my dad, so everything that I have done has been with my mother. My mother struggled raising two boys and two girls. She also struggled a lot since she always was the only source of income for our family. She had to balance working and taking care of her children without the help of anybody, not even her family. Everyday my mother would wake up bright and early to go to work in the fields.
She worked everyday including Sundays to save money to give us a better life in Yuma because we lived in Mexico. My mother worked during all nine months of her pregnancies with each of her children. In all of her pregnancies she drove from mexico to yuma with labor pain to give birth. In every pregnancy after giving birth she would return to work without resting for a couple of days. My mother worked very hard to raise our family and bring all of her children to the United States.
She always worked so hard and never gave up her dream of bringing us to live to Yuma for a better life. My mom rented a nice apartment near a school where we were going, and took us to buy new clothes to start going to school the next day. She was super happy to have achieved her dream, without anybody’s help. Despite the difficulties that my mother had to raise four kids alone without help of nobody, we all have turned out to be good kids. My mom is the most admirable person in my life because she never gives up on us or herself.
I consider myself lucky to have a mother like mine. My mother inspired me because all my life i never saw her struggle with everyday life and she never showed us any fear or indication that doing what she did was hard. Now that i am older and can understand, I can only imagine how hard it would be to work seven days a week, raise four children, make sure your children take their education seriously, put food on the table only making a small amount of money, and use whatever money you have left to bring your children to America to give them a better future.
My mother has inspired me to take everything head on and not take anything for granted. I am now in college and i almost have my degree in criminal justice. I have had challenges in my life but i always look back and remember seeing my mom wake up to go to work and i remember what she went through, so it pushes me to never give up and make something of myself. When i talk about her, I am filled with pride, my mother is one person whom i would not exchange for all the wealth in the world. My mom is the reason I look ahead into the future instead of back to the past.
