I am writing this letter to Jeremy Rifkin’s article “A Change Of Heart About Animals. ” I disagree. I don’t think we can change the way we treat animals. I think we should just let them be and have them live their own habit. If we change the way we treat animals, than they would be like humans and not themselves. They wouldn’t be just normal animals. I feel that animals should be in their own habit and not become more like humans. One of the reasons I disagree to Rifkin’s idea, is that logically, he wants to change the animals and make them more like humans.
Animals shouldn’t be controlled or experimented all the time. They should be able to be on their own. There shouldn’t be any hunting for animals in the world. Soon there won’t be any left. I feel that mostly everything in the world becomes natural and the natural part is hunting animals, which shouldn’t be done in the first place. Companies such as McDonald’s, Burger King, and KFC use animal meat for their fast-foods and people eat them. Makes me feel that if their eating animals that have flesh n blood, then why not eat humans because technically humans are also meat.
So why not just eat yourself then? I don’t think we can change the way we treat animals. We should just let them be open and free. All the things that are happening now, will never change. Including hunting, killing, and eating animals. If we keep eating animals, then there won’t be any animals left in the world. Then what will people eat after that? Themselves? People should stop eating animals and save them instead. Otherwise, there will be nothing left.
