This paper emphasizes on finding the proper solution for above mentioned factors and development of testable system which can efficiently handle the lacking of current system. 1. Research Aim The main purpose of this project is to build an efficient mobile application for GAP appointment service which will not only allow the general public to book/ amend appointment, request repeat prescription and register themselves to the system but also allow the doctor to view the booked appointment and patient’s problem details and finally providing administrative options so that administrator can easily update doctor’s availability, restrict number of appointments to be allowed and process patient requests while on the go.

In one line the project aim would be “development of an android based smart phone which will bring all three key stakeholders(doctors, patient and support staff) in one platform to interact with and continuing a fast GAP services which is a must need in UK under current circumstances”. 1.
