Competitions in the Southeastern region

For the first club that had to research, I decided to choose the ASS snowboarding team. The reason being; absolutely love to snowboard. I live and breathe for two things in this world and that is snowboarding and making music. Fortunately this paper is about snowboarding, which is a very easy topic to write about for me. The ASS Snowboarding Team is a competitive team that travels to different Giant Slalom (race) and Slowest (freestyle) competitions in the South Eastern region. They are simple a big group of friends that like to have fun ND snowboard.

They compete primarily in Giant-Slalom racing, but they also compete in Boarder-Cross racing, Slope-Style and Super-Pipe at nationals. Teams that they compete against during the regular season include NC State, Duke University, University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, and other prominent SAC and SEC universities. The purpose Of this club is simple to “Shred the Gnat’ which is snowboard lingo per SE. This phrase just means that we want to find and shred the best snow out there. Some other lingo phrases include; hostilely, salty gerbil, anarchist, and settee.

This particular club meets every Tuesday and Wednesday at App Ski for practice. Their performance schedule, like races and freestyle, is very intricate. I believe that joining this organization would greatly enhance my time here app that reason being because I love to snowboard as I mentioned earlier. Eve been snowboarding for a year now, and by taking the class I think have gotten pretty good in the time I’ve been ‘boarding. I hope to increase my outdoor activities by snowboarding more next winter.
