treating everyone equally.

Like all jobs that look
for new applicants they hire them based on need. When an organization hires a
new employee, it is due to the need to have someone fulfill the duties in that
area. This also applies to the healthcare field. In the health care field, it
is important to hire employees in the areas that they are needed in. The two
job descriptions that were created do just that. The first job description that
was created is for a nurse to work in the cardiac department and the other is a
Physician.

Importance
to TECC

Just like all positions,
TECC strives to hire the best employees for their positions. The first job
description is to hire a nurse. Hiring a nurse is beneficial for several
reasons, first they are able to work in various departments and secondly, they
bring a lot of experience to the table. A nurse can gain experience working in hospitals,
physician offices, and nursing homes. This is important considering that TECC
is surrounded by elderly communities. Being able to work in different health
organizations nurses bring the experience that is needed to help TECC strive to
be the best organization in the area.

The second job
description is hire a Physician. Having a Physician on staff can help reduce
the number of hours other Physician work. Having the most qualified doctors
will help with the overall patient satisfaction rate. The area that TECC is
located a physician can help diagnose disease before residents in the area
become ill. Knowing that the three most common diseases are obesity, diabetes
and cancer, a physician can help reduce the obesity and diabetes rates for the
area and can catch cancer at an early stage. Having regular exams are important
because they can identify risk factors and problems before they become too
serious (Yoffee, 2009).

Staffing
Needs at TECC

Like all jobs in any
organization, it is important to communicate with potential employees what a
job will entail before they apply for the position. A job description is a
useful communication tool to let employees know what tasks are expected of them
to perform (Brannen, 2016). For TECC these job descriptions let applicants know
what is expected of them if they get hired for the position. The job
descriptions let applicants know what skills are needed in order to be
successful in the positions. The two description that were created will let
TECC find the right employees for the positions, considering there is a medical
school and nursing school located in the area.

Conclusion

Every position at TECC will
be filled by the best employees. If a vacancy opens a job analysis will be done
prior to creating a job description. Every job at TECC is different from one
another therefor it is important to know what a job will entail before it is
filled. Like all organizations, TECC cares about patient satisfaction and will
hire health care providers based on the need of the community.
