Vocab my mother. Nothing in my life seems

Vocab Story “What is this?” I thought, what am I looking at. “Oh I know, this is supposed to be the whole life flashing before your eyes dealio, huh. I was looking back at my childhood, almost as if I was another person looking at my past. Oh yeah, the whole thing with the butterfly, I have a name for it. I call it revival. When I see that butterfly, it means that something bad is going to happen, so I look for what’s out of place. Most the time it’s usually something really bad, like not a crazy carnage bad but life dangering bad. Then I go back in time from a couple to 5 minutes and then I try to stop what that bad thing was. Most of the time I end up ok, but sometimes like this case I get really hurt from it. Well if I die so be it, there’s no one really left to mourn me, well other then my mother. Nothing in my life seems auspicious, at least my death will be opportune, I will get to go down as a hero. Though my body said naw fam, and I slowly opened my eyes. I sighed and grumbled “Yay I’m alive.” “Finally awake sleepy head?” A familiar voice asked. I looked over in the direction the voice came from and saw my coworker form the pizzaria. “What are you doing here?” I asked. “To check on you of course.” She replied. “Man you’ve been out for 3 days! And ya know you’re a pretty big hit on the papers now. They say the truck driver had a heart attack, how did you notice that? She asked in awe.”I don’t know, I guess I just got lucky.” I answered. She seemed to believe my answer and thought it was incontrovertible believed I just happened to notice that tiny detail. Although she is  a prolific person, she is very easy to fool and is very credulous. She left an hour later and I ended up staying in the hospital for a few days. The doctors told me I was all good to go home, when I entered my apartment I could smell amazing food coming from the kitchen. I peered around the corner and saw my mom cooking steak, much to my own surprise. “Hey there kido.” My mom said. “How ya feeling?””Good,” I replied. “Why are you here?” “I’m going to be staying with you for a while, to make sure you’ll be fine.” “Mom I’m fine really, you don’t have to stay.” “My son got hit by a car for pete sake, I’m going to stay with you and that’s final.” “Yes mother.” “Alright dinner’s ready.” “Thanks.” We sat down at the dinner table and started to catch up. It had been a few months since I last saw my mother. “That hospital bill is gonna deplete my entire month’s earning is complained.” “Oh did you not know? The family of the child you saved covered your hospital bill. Hey elbows off the table,” my mother berated. “Ya know you used to do this when you were little too, you would always notice the small things and end up saving or helping someone.” It started to rain, and we could hear the extraneous rain. We cleaned up the dishes and went to bed. The next day we went out shopping for food. We exited the supermarket when I noticed the butterfly again. “Oh no I thought. The inception of another revival. I looked around me off, off whats off again. I looked around the parking lot, no, no, no where is it?” I thought. When I couldn’t find it I began to panic. “Mom do you notice anything off?” “Hmmm?” “Like something not right.” “No why?””Just look,” I pleaded”I remember you saying something like this when you were little.” Suddenly I noticed a guy leading a little child by the hand. He glanced back at me and I could tell that he was looking at me through his sunglasses. I felt a chill down my spine, he disappeared behind a white van, and it sped off, leaving the child there in the parking lot with an icecream cone. “That’s weird I thought, nothing happened.” As we strolled back to my apartment, I noticed a o so suspicoso white van trailing us. To be continued.
