It would be incorrect to judge it as a good or a bad practice, since most firms develop around a culture specific to a community or a part of the world. However, while it is essential to demonstrate respect for cultural diversity, it is also imperative to use communication constructively and effectively in a learning environment. The ‘rules’ of how you behave are to do with what people expect you to do in certain situations.
